about this event
Build on a Bitcoin device and get a chance to win one! NOTE: ONLY FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS.
Foundation's Passport Prime hackathon is your chance to build a real app on a Bitcoin device and show it off live at Bitmela. Learn the SDK, team up, build, demo, and the top 3 apps each walk away with a real Passport Prime.
What you'll do: Get a fast-track intro to Passport Prime and its SDK from the team that built it. Learn the key commands and what the device can do, from QR scanning and QuantumLink connections to loading your own Rust code. Brainstorm an idea and team up with other builders. Build with Foundation's engineers walking the room to help you get unstuck. Demo your project to the room.
The prize: the top 3 apps get a real Passport Prime.
Bring: a laptop. Get a head start: explore the SDK and developer docs at foundation.xyz/developers.
Why it matters for your career: Foundation is an international brand looking for talent, so this is a rare chance to learn, network and get noticed by the people building Bitcoin hardware. You'll leave with a project to show.
Registering gets you the Bitmela Entry Pass, which includes: access to both days, Main Stage, the hackathon, workshops, the Mela with merch to win, comedy show, and after party. Lunch and dinner are not included. You can buy food at the event from ₹300.
See you at Bitmela!
