about this event
About the challenge
Earth is finished. You are not.
Hackperimeter is the first hackathon in Georgia State University Perimeter College history, organized by Rising Tech Society. Over twelve hours, teams of two to four students build a project under one survival scenario: Escape from Earth. The perimeter has fallen, the last transports are fueling, and what your crew builds before the clock runs out decides whether you get on board.
Teams demo live to judges from our partner companies, and the top three teams share a $1,000 cash prize pool and earn on-site interviews at the end of the day. Our partners include IBM Z, Accenture, The Zoku App, Duwun, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute.
Winners are survivors.
