about this event
Replit Buildathon, Chennai Powered by VibeLab × Madrasters, Supported by Uniphore. Build Ideas. Ship Vibes.
Replit Buildathon is coming to Chennai for the first time. VibeLab, Madrasters, and Replit are bringing together Chennai's builders, product managers, designers, creators, and curious minds for a hands-on morning of building with AI. With tools like Replit, you can take an idea, build the experience, and turn it into a working product — without getting stuck in the gap between "I have an idea" and "I actually built it."
What's happening? We'll kick things off with a session on "From Idea to Working Product with Replit" — exploring how AI is changing the way we build and how anyone can go from an idea to something real. Then, it's time to build. You'll receive a challenge and get hands-on with Replit to turn your idea into a working product. Build individually or team up with others and see how far you can take your idea in the time you have. A Replit Ambassador will be around throughout the buildathon to help you get started, demo the platform, and answer questions as you build. Every participant gets Replit credits to build. We'll wrap things up with a showcase where selected teams present: Problem → Idea → Build → Live Demo. And the top 3 teams win 3 months of Replit Core.
Event Details: 📅 October 10, 2026; ⏰ 10 AM – 1 PM; 📍 Uniphore, IITM Research Park, Kanagam, Tharamani, Chennai; 👥 Limited to 80 participants.
Who should come? Designers, developers, product thinkers, creators, students, and anyone curious about building with AI. You don't need to be an expert in Replit. You don't need to have built something before. Just bring an idea, some curiosity, and a willingness to build.
Chennai, let's build. VibeLab × Madrasters in collaboration with Replit. Come with an idea. Leave with something that works. Build Ideas. Ship Vibes.
