Syndicate by Maximor is a 30-hour global hackathon hosted by Agent Orchestrator (AO) for builders creating practical autonomous agent systems.

The hackathon starts on Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 PM EDT and ends on Sunday, September 6 at 6:00 PM EDT.

The hackathon is online and open worldwide. Participants in San Francisco, New York City, and Bangalore may also join an in-person build station. In-person seats are limited and require confirmation from the relevant venue team.

There are two tracks. Track 1: Automated Agent Engineering asks participants to build a system that can design, test, and improve specialized agents for tasks it has never seen before. Strong projects should analyze failures and improve their prompts, tools, memory, or orchestration while demonstrating measurable gains in accuracy, reliability, cost, or speed. Track 2: Autonomous Office of the CFO asks participants to build an agent that automates a real accounting, finance, or treasury workflow end to end. Projects should handle exceptions and human review. Example workflows include reconciliation, invoice processing, forecasting, cash reporting, closing the books, and gathering audit support.

Joining the Discord is mandatory. All announcements, technical support, partner updates, team formation, and submission information will be shared there.

Every participant must generate their Syndicate participant pass and share it on X or LinkedIn, tagging AO so they can reshare it.

Every participant must use AO to build the project from start to finish. The final demo must show how AO was used and the AO sessions involved. Projects started before the hackathon or projects without meaningful AO usage will be disqualified.

Opportunities and support: Top participants will be considered for internship opportunities with Maximor and AO, whose teams will be present in the Discord throughout the hackathon. Dodo Payments can fast-track same-day verification for participants integrating its platform. TensorMux is providing inference support. Neatlogs can be used to trace, debug, inspect, and improve agent runs. AI Grants India is providing GPU or voice credits to selected projects.
